Graphic video taken at a hospital shows a man with a spear going through his neck and exiting his shoulders. The man who is believed to be Russian fisherman, Baatr Dalantaev, was rushed to hospital with the spike protruding from the flesh between his shoulder and his jaw. He appears calm as the doctor examines him but this could be due to shock. It is not clear if he will suffer any permanent damage from the nasty accident. See more photos after the cut...

Police has given the Founder and leader of the International Godsway Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim 24 hours to honour their invitation or they’ll be forced to take action against him. The Tema Regional Police had on Thursday August 18, 2016 sent an invitation to Bishop Daniel Obinim to report himself to the police after The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Nana Oye Lithur reported the matter. Their invitation follows widespread public condemnation of a viral video of the pastor whipping two of his teenage members before his congregation for fornicating and attempted abortion. But the self-acclaimed Angel has not honoured the invitation. According to Adom News’ Kwame Yankah, the police might to forced to effect an arrest if he fails to appear today August 22.

Two women of a South-American reality TV show known as 'Rica Famosa Latina' turned a scripted fight into a real gangster fight that ended up landing one of them in the hospital with a bloodied face. The producers of the reality TV Show had planned to shoot a scripted scene of cast members Sandra and Victoria arguing over a dress and then getting into a fake brawl. Sandra instead of going with the script, let her temper get the better of her. She smashed a wine glass on Victoria's head before grinding the broken spiked end into her chest. According to TMZ, the pair were shooting the scene at a fashion event in Culver City when the brawl started. The scripted scene was supposed to show the women arguing over a dress. Rapper Consequence, who has been described as one of the most prolific ghost writers in hip hop, and known to have written many tracks for Kanye, is now claiming he co-wrote Jay Z’s hit song, Encore. Below is how HipHopDX reported it... Broadway dancer Marcus Bellamy (pictured left), has been arrested and charged with the brutal murder of his boyfriend, Bernardo Almonte (pictured right). According to police, Marcus attacked Bernardo, a 27-year-old freelance IT technician at their New York apartment, beating and strangling him to death on Friday night August 19th. According to reports, the couple began arguing in their Washington Heights apartment, and with no one there to stop them, it quickly became physical. The two fought viciously for hours and when Marcus eventually got the upper hand, he strangled Bernardo to death. And what he did next shocked many of their friends. The Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos State, has arrested a 45-year-old pastor, Joseph Olude, and his church member, Rasak Raheem, for allegedly robbing in the Idiroko-Oke Odan area, a border community between Ogun State, Nigeria, and the Benin Republic. According to Punch, Olude and Raheem were arrested by the operatives of the Zonal Intervention Squad, after a tip-off. It was learnt that while the police arrested the two suspects, other members of the gang fled. Punch gathered that on Thursday, August 11, the police received information that a robbery gang was operating in the Idiroko-Oke Odan area, and dispossessing motorists of their valuables. A businessman, who was moving money from Nigeria to the Benin Republic, was said to have put a distress call across to the police. The two suspects were thereafter arrested.
