A man named Victor Ojiaku has been arrested by the Nigerian police for allegedly beating his wife mercilessly and then stabbing her in her private part with a broken bottle after accusing her of sleeping with sleeping with a teenage boy who works for him. Ojiaku, an automobile parts dealer, attacked his wife, Faith Ojiaku, 27, a mother of three at their home in White Sand, Isheri-Osun in Lagos State last week. LIB has photos of the stabbed vagina but probably not appropriate to post here Faith was kept locked up for two days by Victor, making it impossible for her to call any family member or friend for help or seeking medical attention. When she was eventually allowed to seek medical attention, she used a doctor's phone to call her sister who the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team, who have since taken up the case. A Nigerian man named Tochukwu Nnadi was choked to death by police in South Africa on Thursday December 29th after he was arrested for allegedly selling drugs. According to eyewitnesses, the man, popularly known as King Kingsley, was not struggling after he was arrested and handcuffed but one of the officers held onto his neck and squeezed tightly until blood started gushing out. His body was later removed. Can the Nigerian government look into this?

The National Agency for Drugs, Administration and Control (NAFDAC) on Thursday, December 29, in Sokoto State destroyed illegal, hard and expired drugs in Sokoto State worth millions of Naira. Dr. Musa Umar, Director of Narcotics and Controlled Substances of the agency, who represented the acting Director-General of the agency, Mrs Yetunde Oni, led the destruction exercise at Dutsen Babari in Dange/Shuni local government area of the state. Some of the products were voluntarily submitted to the agency by various governmental and non-governmental organisation. "Others were mopped up from open markets via enforcement activities and surveillance system of NAFDAC." said Dr. Umar, adding that the burnt products were seized in Sokoto and Zamfara States.

Former Borno state governor and factional leader of PDP, Ali Modu Sheriff, has said that the recent capture of Boko Haram's strongest enclave in Sambisa forest known as Ground Zero, by the Military, has vindicated him. Sheriff has in the past been accused of creating the sect group which has now become an international terrorist group. Speaking at a function in Benue state yesterday, Sheriff said.. "The military have cleared Sambisa forest and I want to thank them. I'm the number one causality of Boko haram. I have lost very close relatives which included my cousins, my candidate and others were all killed by Boko haram. Those of us who are from Borno State knows what we have suffered in the hands of the sect. The irony of it all is that those who feared my political career turned around to say that I created Boko haram but God has vindicated me'" he said

Tom Hank's son, aspiring rapper Chet Hank's secret daughter has be revealed. The 26 year old had a brief relationship with Tiffany Miles which resulted into this beautiful baby whose name isn't known yet. Chet has since released a video saying his new daughter has inspired him to deal once-and-for-all with his alcohol-and-drug issues and lead a sober life.
