Brazilian/Barcelona footballer Neymar Jr is back to his former girlfriend and top Brazilian model Bruna Marquezine by the looks of things. Neymar broke up with Bruna in 2014 but in the summer, after Neymar helped Brazil win their first Olympic football gold medal he rushed to meet Bruna in the stadium and celebrated with her saying after the match that he promised to celebrate with someone special if he won the gold medal.   The next day, Neymar and Bruna were spotted hanging out together at a shopping centre. Yesterday pictures circulated on Social media showing Neymar and Bruna spending time together and having a family dinner in Barcelona with Neymar's sister Rafaella. Seems they are back together.

The father of honor student Daizsa Bausby has been arrested and charged for her alleged rape and murder. The teen was preparing for her 19th birthday, when she was suddenly found dead. According to the authorities, her father, Jerry K. Bausby, 40, raped and killed in March 2016. Daizsa's was found smothered to death inside a Kansas City motel room after she went to visit her dad. Last week, her dad appeared before a Jackson County judge, and entered a not guilty plea for the student's death and rape. He was charged with murder in the first degree, sodomy, incest and sexual assault but he maintains his innocence

Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, says she cannot predict when the current economic recession will end. ‎Adeosun said this during an interview with newsmen over the weekend. “I don’t want to predict when we will get out of recession. Let me tell you that we will get into growth and that’s how you get out of recession, because of the stimulus that we are providing. ‎It may take longer than we would like, but we will definitely get out of it. 31 year old Agwu Samuel pictured above, has been arrested by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) after 10 wraps of cocaine weighing 110 grammes was discovered in his collar jacket at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos. According to the Nation, he was arrested shortly after he disembarked from the aircraft on his way from Sao Paulo, Brazil. The suspect confidently wore the jacket containing the drugs but through experience and insight, the drugs were discovered by the anti-drug officers. This is the first discovery of cocaine inside the collar of a jacket by the NDLEA. Speaking on his arrest, ‎the NDLEA commander at the Lagos airport, Ahmadu Garba, said Agwu was arrested during routine check on passengers. “Ten wraps of cocaine weighing 110 grammes were found inside the collar of his jacket during screening of passengers on a South Africa Airline flight from Brazil through Johannesburg. Legendary golfer Arnold Palmer has died. According to his family, Palmer died Sunday at his home in Pennsylvania. Arnold Palmer was a 7-time major championship winner and became the most beloved figure associated with the golf in the 60s. Arnold Palmer, was a champion golfer whose full-bore style of play, thrilling tournament victories and magnetic personality inspired an American golf boom, attracted a following known as Arnie’s Army and made him one of the most popular athletes in the world. A spokesman for his business enterprises, Doc Giffin, said the cause of death was complications from heart problems. Paul Wood, a spokesman for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, confirmed that Palmer died Sunday evening at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh.

At about 1.00am today, Sunday 25th September 2016, some suspected remnants of Boko Haram fighters attacked our troops location of at Logomani along Dikwa-Gambarou road, Borno State, in a 3 wave attack using 36 Hand Grenades and Rocket Propelled Launchers. Our troops fought gallantly and repelled the attack which lasted for about one hour. At the end of the fierce encounter, the troops counted 22 dead bodies of Boko Haram fighters. They also recovered 2 AK-47 Rifles, 1 FN Rifle, 1 G3 Rifle and some 36 Hand grenades. Unfortunately, we lost 4 soldiers and their rifles as a result of the effect of Boko Haram use of Rocket Propelled Grenades, while 2 soldiers were wounded in action. The wounded in action have been evacuated for further medical management. The location have been reinforced and replenished while the troops have continued their clearance operations.

Hunger-induced crimes in Minna, Niger State capital have taken a worrying dimension as hungry youths now go about snatching food packs from nursery and primary school children on their way to school, The Guardian reports. The latest victim, one Fati Sanusi, a four-year-old nursery two pupil of Mega Stars Academy, located in Kpakungu, Minna, alleged that her food pack, prepared by her mother was snatched from her by a youth. Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Cecilia Bunmi Koseemani, who confirmed the incident exclusively to The Guardian, said that it was difficult to get the little girl to stop crying. "We had to send for her mother who prevailed on the four-year-old girl before she stopped crying. The mother later rushed back home to prepare Indomie for her instead of the rice meal that was initially snatched from her." said Mrs Koseemani. Benue State Police Command have arrested 3 suspected kidnappers in Ohimini Local Government Area of the state. According to the command spokesman, ASP Moses Yamu, who confirmed the arrest, the suspects namely Abdullahi Yahaya aka Oscar, Abubakar Hussain and Kelvin Ameh were arrested by operatives of the Special Anti-robbery Squad, SARS following a tip- off. Items recovered from the suspects includes, one Automatic pump action no. 156254, eleven (11) cartridges, one locally fabricated Berretta pistol with twenty-eight (28) rounds of live ammunition, one navy blue Golf car with reg no KOGI LKJ 44 OCV, criminal charms and a cash sum of thirty-six (₦36,000) thousand naira.
