Man Takes His Son To The Hospital In A Wheelbarrow In Imo State

Many Nigerian on social media are asking where the Imo State Commissioner for Happiness is, after some photos of a man seen carrying his sick son to the hospital in wheelbarrow emerged online. A Facebook user identified as Chizomam Onyeledo, has taken to the social networking platform and shared some photos of a man who was captured on camera carrying his son in a wheelbarrow to the hospital in Imo state. The poster shared the photos and wrote; ***************** "The issue of transportation in Owerri is really dealing with people. Today at the hospital, everyone became speechless as a man brought his son for wound dressing and check up with wheelbarrow!!! This little boy was involved in an accident,he had fracture(broken arm) and this made it difficult for his dad to carry him. Landmark University Begins Rice Production

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adeniyi Olayanju has reiterated the commitment of the University to becoming an incubation centre for Agripreneurs and agricultural practitioners as catalysts for national economic development. Speaking during the launch of Landmark University Rice on the 23rd November, 2017 at the Landmark Commercial Farm Sales Centre, the Vice-Chancellor said the University’s blueprint for the agro-enterprise accommodates a full-fledged rice processing mill for a large-scale rice production. “Production of rice is a value addition to our context. We did not stop at just planting and harvesting but have gone into packaging for the local and national market. It is a confirmation of the reality of continuous rice production and the increased capacity for teaching and research in cereal production,” he stated. NNPC Boss, Baru Reacts To Report Linking Kyari To N50bn Funds Kept Away From TSA

Below is a full statement from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC; "The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has disclaimed the allegation that its Group Managing Director, Dr. Maikanti Baru, had ever stated in any fora that the Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, “directed the Corporation to keep the sum of N50billion away from the Treasury Single Account (TSA).” NNPC wishes to state that the allegation is baseless, and is a clear misrepresentation of the truth. An online publication made the allegation recently. By virtue of the operations of the NNPC, the Corporation had made series of compelling cases to the Presidency and the Central Bank of Nigeria to allow certain categories of accounts operate outside the TSA, as they contain co-mingled funds governed by detailed agreements with local and international implications.
