Nigeria’s first Republic Prime Minister’s son and a 2015 presidential aspirant Dr Abdul-Jhalil Tafawa-Balewa states that the Jonathan’s adoption as consensus candidate of the PDP is shameful and unconstitutional.
Speaking in Abuja during the visit to the National Association of Niger Delta Students, Tafawa-Balewa called   unconstitutional, Vanguard informs. “The decision acted against the general interest of party men and women”, he added.
Dr. Tafawa-Balewa says that the country was moving at snail speed. He states that it needs to turn the ship of the state in the right direction. He is in the presidential race because the country was not being properly managed, the aspirant explains.

According to him, “We used to blame APC for not having internal democracy but we that have it, if you look at the people who gave the consensus; they have loads of baggage behind them.”
Presidential aspirant stresses that he is not going to any other party and will rather insist on growing democratic principles in the party. Also he believes that he knows Nigeria a much better than anybody else.
“I do not know what it is that we are transforming but Nigeria is not moving the way it should. We can have near zero unemployment and improve education and power. There is no reason why Nigeria, so rich in coal, should have this kind of energy problem.”
